John Degenkolb won his second stage on Wednesday this Tour of Spain. In the fifth stage of the Vuelta the German of Team Argos-Shimano defeated Daniele Bennati (RadioShack-Nissan) and Gianni Meersman (Lotto-Belisol) in a bunch sprint.
In the points classification Degenkolb is the leader. The German has twenty points on Allan Davis of Orica-Green Edge.
Katusha rider Joaquim Rodriguez didn’t make any mistake and retained his lead in the general classification. Christopher Froome (Sky) follows on one second. Alberto Contador is five seconds behind.
